‘Coronation Street’ is set to welcome a new arrival next week, as Tina McIntyre’s mum turns up in Weatherfield.
While fans have been expecting Anne’s arrival to shock and worry Rob Donovan, who murdered the young barmaid, Rob actually makes a beeline for the newcomer.

Rather than hiding away and trying to lay low, Rob (Marc Baylis) introduces himself to Anne in the Rovers, assuring her that he’d love to help in any way possible.
Anne is understandably feeling a little overwhelmed and emotional when she arrives on the cobbles and has no idea that Rob is responsible for her daughter’s death.
She soon seeks out Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox), hoping that she can tell her more about Tina’s life.

Since making her dramatic exit, Michelle Keegan has enjoyed some well-earned time off, holidaying in Marbella with her fiance Mark Wright.
She’s also announced plans for her first fashion collection, which will be released by Lipsy in July 2014.
