Kelly Brook’s fiancé David McIntosh has hit out at critics who have claimed he is only dating the model for fame, labelling them “ridiculous”.
The former marine popped the question to Kelly earlier this year and there have been a number of suggestions that David is hoping the relationship will boost his own profile.

Now, David has hit back, telling Hello! magazine: “The idea that I’m using Kelly for fame is just ridiculous, though, I mean, have you seen this lady?
“She’s smart, she’s funny, she’s kind - she’s got it all. I could understand someone saying that if I was with some 60-year-old woman, but to me, it just makes zero sense.”
Chantelle Houghton has criticised the couple on a number of occasions and recently labelled Kelly as “attention seeking”, adding that she thinks David is “fame hungry”.
Chantelle previously slammed David, claiming he tried it on with her in 2008 and shortly after the pair revealed their engagement, she said Kelly “needed her head reading”.
Kelly has opened up about David’s proposal, describing it as the “most humbling” moment of her life.
The model isn’t wasting any time in planning her big day and has already picked the venue for their wedding.
