In case America wasn't already head–over–heels in love with Taylor Swift, the singer celebrated her 24th birthday on Friday (Dec. 13), by selflessly donating $100,000 to the Nashville Symphony.
Over the last few years, it has become increasingly apparent that symphonies across the country are facing hardship. Economic downturns, as well as a shift in public taste, have caused many symphonies to file for bankruptcy or struggle to find creative ways to draw in a new audience.
The same has been true for the Nashville Symphony, which saw its Schermerhorn Symphony Center nearly foreclosed on earlier this year. Swift's generous donation comes at the perfect time for the organization and the popular singer must have known how instrumental her generosity would be.
The Symphony thanked Swift and confirmed the donation on their Twitter account:
