It seems to be the rumour that just won’t die, but Jennifer Hudson has dropped a massive hint that Sarah Jessica Parker could soon be strapping on her Manolos once again, for a third ‘Sex and the City’ film.
Y’know… because the second one was such a smash hit with fans and critics.
‘Sex and the City’ fans will recall that J-Hud appeared in the first film as Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant, Louis from St. Louis and - after showing up to her wedding with “a bird” on her head and then almost smashing Mr Big’s face in with a bridal bouquet - the fictional columnist credited Louise for “bringing her back to life”.

The former ‘American Idol’ contestant and Oscar-winner has now said that she could be reprising her role for a third instalment, telling Dish Nation she’d been approached to appear in a third installment.
When asked whether she would ever consider appearing in a new ‘Sex and the City’ movie, Jennifer revealed: “Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it’s in the talks, it might happen.
“Look for Louise from St. Louis!”

Earlier this year, Kristin Davis - who played hopeless romantic Charlotte York in the HBO series and the two ensuing films - caused a frenzy in the fan community when she said she would love to play Charlotte again in a new film.
She told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on ‘This Morning’: “Would I do another? Of course! We'd be thrilled if there was another one! I think in our hearts - I shouldn't speak for all of us - but I feel like it's unfinished.”
Although the first film was well-received when it was released in 2008, ‘Sex and the City 2’ remains a sore spot with most fans of the show, and was even slammed for being “borderline racist” in its portrayal of the Middle East.
