When it came to the fashion stakes, Abbey Clancy stole the show on the Pride of Britain red carpet on Monday night.

The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ winner proved why she is one of the UK’s most sought-after fashion models when she worked the red carpet on her way into the ceremony, in a daring dress that showed off her fabulous pins.

From one side, Abbey’s dress might have appeared to be a fairly standard awards show floor-length gown, but after giving photographers a quick twirl she revealed that the other half of the dress was thigh-length and adorned with a Greek-inspired design.

At Abbey’s side at the event was her footballer husband, Peter Crouch, who was dressed slightly more traditionally in a plain black suit.

This year’s Pride of Britain Awards, which were hosted by Carol Vorderman, saw a whole host of celebrities turn out to watch the UK’s best and bravest being recognised for their achievements in the past year.

Among the stars in attendance was ‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter Susanna Reid, who was also one of the judges for this year’s awards, who looked stunning in a gold dress.

Carol had previously revealed that Susanna had struggled with being on the panel, claiming she was an “emotional wreck” by the end of the day.

While Susanna has been lauded for her fashion choice, ‘Loose Women’ anchor Kaye Adams has received slightly less praise after accidentally flashing her underwear in an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction, joking on Twitter that she had crawled under a stone after the mishap.
