Of course the Muppets can manufacture outrage over being snubbed by the Golden Globes. They're Muppets!
A clever ad that aired during the awards show Sunday intercuts scenes of the new film "Muppets Most Wanted" with Twitter complaints about the zero nominations the movie received.
The tweets were actually posted on Twitter by the accounts named in the video -- at least a few of which appear to be controlled by folks who work for the Muppets. Still, the tweets are hysterical and so darn close to actual Twitter controversies, right down to the hideous misspellings and text-speak we often see on social media. For realz.
"Muppets Most Wanted" opens March 21 (so yeah, it wasn't eligible anyway).
