In what was possibly the least rock n roll Brits ever, thanks to ‘the nicest men in music’, AKA Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith leading the nominations, and the Kings of Primetime, Ant & Dec on hosting duties, everything had gone without a hitch.
Almost.
Then the star of the show, Madonna, who we were reminded every five minutes was making her Brits comeback and performing for the first time in two decades, took to the stage... and proceeded to fall off it before she’d barely sung a note.
Twitter exploded.
