Everydad character actor Dan Hedaya will add Danny of "The Mindy Project" to his list of fictional children, Vulture reports. As the show foreshadowed last week, Danny will have some reconciling to do with his dead beat dad. Hedaya's resume includes the roles of Richard Nixon in "Dick" and Nick Tortelli in "Cheers" and "The Tortellis," but -- more importantly -- he's played a ton of other dads including Nick's dad on "Family Ties," Monk's dad on "Monk" and Cher's Dad on "Clueless."
