Chris Moyles is set to make a return to radio, with a new breakfast show on Xfm, according to reports.

The DJ left Radio 1 back in 2012, and his replacement Nick Grimshaw hasn’t exactly been a huge hit with listeners.

Now, The Sun reports that Chris will be making a comeback on commercial station Xfm, which is owned by Global Radio, after signing a new deal earlier this week.

A source tells the paper: “It’s a massive coup for XFM to be able to sign Chris.

“He was enjoying not having all of the usual pressures and early starts that come with breakfast radio so bosses were well aware that they had to offer him a great deal to entice him back.

“He plans to spend the next two months developing ideas for the new show and how he wants the format to be.

“Chris will also take a networking trip to LA.”

The paper adds that Chris will be back in the studio in September, and he’s currently busy picking a team to work on the show.

The move will make Chris a direct rival for Nick, who recorded his lowest ever listening figures back in May.

Nick’s got a busy year ahead, and next week, he’ll take a seat on the ‘X Factor’ panel, alongside Rita Ora, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.

‘X Factor’ lovers Chloe Jasmine and Stevi Ritchie could be back on our TV screens this summer, as it’s rumoured that they’ll be heading into the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.

Stevi’s been in line for a spot on the show for months, but now, it seems his girlfriend will be joining him.

A source tells The Sun: “Stevi and Chloe are both characters in their own right so combined they are double the drama.”

The couple met on ‘X Factor’, but didn’t actually become an item until they’d been booted off the talent competition.

When she entered the show, Chloe had a boyfriend, however they split while she was starring in the live finals.

The new series of ‘CBB’ kicks off this summer, and other stars rumoured to be heading into the house include the artist formerly known as GC, and Janice Dickinson.

You Should Be Stronger Than Me: Amy Winehouse and I

$

My friend Chris' mum is a huge T-Rex fan. Every year she goes to the site where Marc Bolan crashed his car and lays flowers, shares memories with other fans and reminds herself how much she loved him. I've always admired this dedication to someone she never met but is completely part of who she is.

For most women this kind of fandom starts with some sort of boy band or front man. I grew up at a time when a phone line was opened to console Take That fans when Robbie left and teenage girls wailed in the streets over Boyzone. My friend had an almost unhealthy obsession with Tim Burgess, so much so she camped outside what she thought was his house for three nights only to be told he'd never lived there and would she kindly move on or they would have to call the police.

Apart from a brief fad flirtation with Scott from 5ive and the obligatory lust of Leonardo DiCaprio in Romeo+Juliet, I had never really experienced that kind of full on consuming obsession. Until I discovered Amy Winehouse. I was on the way back from my sister's ill fated university open day in Newcastle. I had behaved badly and understandably she wasn't speaking to me by the time we got the hot train home so I put my headphones in and put on Frank. Jo Whiley had played Amy's single on her Radio 1 show and I'd bought the album solely on the weight of "yours is a familiar face but that don't make your place safe in my bed." Listening to Frank on that train home I found a best friend, a little soulmate. Here was a girl who was my age, going through everything I was. All the vulnerability, sexuality, the darkness, the hilarity, the terror and the thrill of being 19 was all here. By the end of my second year at university every girl in my shared house had a copy of it.

The first time I saw Amy live was at the Brecon Jazz Festival in 2004. We ran into the tent to find a lot of middle aged John Lewis shoppers neatly sat on plastic chairs in rows. We charged down to the front and spent the whole night singing along too loudly and dancing. She pointed to us from the stage, "I like these girls." As soon as she went off I tore the set list from the stage and ran to get a photo. She signed the set list "I <3 U, Amy." My obsession was in overdrive. After that I collected posters, postcards, stickers, t shirts and bought the album again so I could stick the artwork on the wall.

2015-07-04-1436007321-4677517-meandamybrecon.JPG

In late 2006 a clip appeared on amywinehouse.com. There she sat with the beehive, tattoos, the batwing eyeliner and the single line "They tried to make me go to rehab" played on a loop. By the time time Back to Black came out I was working at a small radio station in Macclesfield and they got sent it a few weeks before release. I squealed so loud the sales team thought I had a hernia. I put it on in the studio then in the car going home and then all night. I listened to it over and over and there she was again, now we were 22, knowing everything I was feeling saying all the things I couldn't explain.

The second time I met Amy was at SXSW the following year. I visibly shook going over to her and started saying about Brecon and how we'd been dancing when no one else was and I'd still got the setlist and did she remember? Her eyes darted from me the floor and she chewed furiously and cut me off saying "yeah I remember, yeah yeah I remember, do you want a picture?" Maybe it was because she was just about to play a showcase for a new album and she was nervous or that she didn't really need this girl rabbiting on about a gig years ago, but she was different, she was altered. Physically she was completely transformed but she was also distracted and absent.

2015-07-04-1436008323-1653879-meandamy.jpg

I saw Amy play live five times more after that. Once in Manchester then Brighton on the Back to Black tour, then twice at Glastonbury and the final time was the disastrous Bestival appearance in 2008. We waited over an hour for her to come on stage and by the time she did she could barely stand. Her eyes rolled, she sat on the stage drinking and I had to leave. I just couldn't watch her being so awful when I knew she was brilliant. The easiest thing to do was to get angry with her. Why didn't she care? Why wasn't she trying? She was so wonderful and she was just fucking it all up with drugs and Blake and we couldn't understand it.

I was on a train when I found out Amy had died. I've only just come to appreciate the beauty that it was on a train where I first really found her. I didn't cry until I got home and then cried and cried. She'd died and there would be no more music, no more toothy laughter and no more Amy. The next day I sat and wrote a letter. I was amazed how much I wanted to say to her. I wrote "You Should Be Stronger Than Me" over and over and stuck the photos I had with her on the envelope and took it up to her Camden house.

I carried on listening to the albums over and over. I bought Lioness when it came out and played her songs on the radio whenever I could. I got angry and frustrated she was gone. A year later I thought, there should be a new Amy album now. She had been the soundtrack and mentor of my late teens/ early twenties and I had thought she'd be there into my thirties, forties and beyond. I got cross and I got sad and put her pictures on my wall but eventually, slowly but inevitably, things moved on. Like my restless 19 year old self, Amy became more and more of a memory. I knew I would always love her but it wasn't in the same burning way anymore. I couldn't feel her with me any longer.

2015-07-05-1436118942-643371-AMYSETLIST.JPG

A few months ago when I heard they were making a film about her life I felt excited and terribly nervous. I'd seen Asif Kapadia's previous film Senna about the life of the Formula 1 driver so I knew it would be done beautifully but I was scared what old feelings it would bring up and what buttons it would press. I sort of felt like I'd let Amy down moving on from her.

Convinced I would sob throughout and without the foresight to bring tissues, I grabbed a load of those rough brown napkins from the cinema bar on the way in. We sat in the dark watching the incredible footage of a young curvy Amy and listening to the accounts by her friends of how funny and brilliant she was. In the first half of the film she's driving around doing interviews, promoting Frank, playing little shows, doing her make up in toilets, getting her own flat. It was the same girl I'd met at Brecon Jazz, hair down laughing all the time. Then her friend's voice came over and said at that point she moved to Camden, that's where things started to change.

The next shot of Amy we saw the tattoos, the beehive and the eyeliner were all there but she wasn't. The change was so clear it was overwhelming. She was drinking, not eating, she was with Blake, she was struggling to write the new album and that was it, that was the moment she went from Brecon Jazz Amy to SXSW.

The film documents the story of what happened next, about how she got married, went in and out of rehab, was surrounded by paparazzi but also how she outgrew Back to Black but was still playing it live. She was sick of it. She was tired of reliving it and still playing Rehab over and over when it didn't mean anything to her anymore. That feeling led up to the shambolic Bestival performance. Suddenly everything made sense and rather than being angry with her I was angry for her.

That was the main feeling I came out of the film with, the frustration of what was allowed to happen to her. There are so many moments watching it you think, why is he there now? Why is she being told to do this? Why didn't they hire someone to take care of that? I interviewed the film's director Asif Kapadia on my radio show ahead of the film's release, he said "what we do is show where people just started making decisions that in the end, were not good for her."

There's a lot of discussion how unethical it is for people to go to rehab together but Amy and Blake were found somewhere that would take them. There is a heartbreaking moment when Blake is teasing her to sing Rehab. She smiles and winces before saying softly, "I don't mind it here." Three days later were the infamous pictures of her and Blake covered in blood walking the streets of Camden.

What does remain the same is Amy. Despite being knocked about by everything she remains completely true and genuine. She was funny and smart and clever throughout. I know a lot of reviews have mentioned her amazing facial reaction when being compared to Dido in an interview and also the tour she does round her holiday apartment pretending she is the housekeeper. My favourite moment was during the Grammys, Justin Timberlake is the nomination before her and she turns to her band incredulously asking "he called his record What Goes Around Comes Around?!"

She was there all along, she just got lost. Amy has really made me understand that. She was coming back to us, she was back on her feet and there were plans for new music and babies right before she died. Kapadia said "once people see the film they realise she was amazing and special and we should have looked after her." We really should have.

Carpet Fitter to Model and Award-winning Actor at 50

$

I wasn't particularly looking for a career change, although something less physical and strenuous than fitting carpets for a living had crossed my mind from time to time, especially after 30 years in the job. It was around five years ago I was sunbathing in a London park, when two model scouts came over to me from The Eye Casting. They asked if I would be interested in testing for a television commercial for a shaving brand. It did come as a surprise, as I was 50 years old at the time and always thought that models were much younger or looked like David Beckham or David Gandy. I said I would think about it and they arranged to call me a couple of days later. By the time they called back, I had decided to go with it and although I didn't get the TV commercial, they signed me to the agency. Not long after that, I started to get lots of bookings. At first it was for adverts in magazines but this soon lead into more moving image jobs like music videos, short films and commercials. After shooting one of the music videos, the directors approached me about trying for the lead in the new feature they were planning to shoot later that year. After auditioning and testing, they offered me a lead role in the movie. I was absolutely thrilled, as this was only eight months after I'd been scouted and I had never had any acting training. The fact that I haven't had any training is something people are always curious about and ask me about. This however is something I don't dwell on too much. I just read the script and totally believe I am that person in that situation. It's more of an instinct thing.

It was early one summer morning in 2011 then that I set off in my carpet van for our location. Home for the next five weeks was to be Folkestone in Kent. With me were a small crew of 25, all of them passionate and talented, albeit new to the feature length films. The title of the film is Everyone's Going to Die, a black comedy with a twist of romance, directed by a talented duo, Max Baron and Michael Woodward, known collectively as Jones. My co-star and leading lady was to be Nora Tschirner, a very experienced German actress and presenter. The first week was spent with Max and Nora, rehearsing and perfecting the script and performances, while Michael and the film crew checked the locations and worked on the technical side. I remember the very first scene we shot involved me sprinting 100 yards being chased by a ferocious dog. But as the saying goes, 'Never work with children or animals,' and we had to retake the scene 10 times! Exhausting!

Another time, Nora and I had to swim across an icy cold harbour at two in the morning, then stop in the middle and have a conversation! It makes me smile every time I see the uncontrollable shivering. One of our producers somehow managed to persuade Jaguar to loan us a luxury car for my character to use in the film, and our lovely main producer, Kelly Broad, let me use the car for the whole five weeks while she drove my old carpet van! Fun times and good memories.

The film has been screened in many of the world's film festivals, with a world premiere at SXSW in Austin, Texas and a UK premiere at the Edinburgh Film Festival. It won an arthouse cinema award in Mons, Belgium and the jury at the Dinard film festival gave us a special mention for our performances. We now have a UK release for the film in selected cinemas from June 26th. I've worked in three more features since we made this film, the latest one being a part in Guy Ritchie's new film, Knights of the Round Table, where I play Mordred, a druid King. Coming to a multiplex near you, 2016...

In between my roles in film, I have my modelling work. I have had some great jobs where I got to travel to different cities around the world, some of my favourites being Paris, Venice and Johannesburg. Recently though, I landed one of my best jobs to date, here in the UK for H&M, in a new campaign directed by Mark Forster. This was a TV commercial, playing pool with David Beckham where we had a great time filming, walking around the table and staring each other out for two days. It was all acting though, as I have to say that David really is a nice guy and we had great fun shooting it.

So glad I was in the park that day and the way things are going, I'm really excited about the future and doing more films. It sure beats working for a living!

Everyone's Going to Die is in UK Cinemas now and will be available on VoD from July 6th.

Lily Allen has taken to Twitter to send kisses to fans following reports of her collapsing at last week’s Glastonbury.

Pictures of the singer published in The Sun appeared to show her passed out on the grass in the VIP section of the music festival.

Witnesses described the mum-of-two of being ‘out of it’ and that her ‘chin was moving from side to side, chewing constantly’.

According to reports, paramedics attended to the singer after worried friends picked her up and sat her down in a nearby car.

The ‘Smile’ singer was wrapped in a foil blanket and given oxygen before her husband Sam Cooper, who was elsewhere at the event, arrived and drove her away.

A spokesman for Lily told The Sun: ‘She is totally fine and had a great Glastonbury.’

Earlier in the festival, the 30-year-old star warned fans of the dangers of gas cookers after a stove she was using exploded in her caravan, leaving her with minor burns.

“I was in a gas explosion in my caravan today and I have minor burns and synged my eyelashes considerably. it was absolutely terrifying and I wouldn't want anyone to go through anything similar,” she told fans on Instagram.

“Please be SO careful using gas stoves at anytime but especially during festival season when ones reaction times may be a little off. Feeling very grateful to be alive. Happy camping."

Alesha Dixon's National Anthem Performance At The British Grand Prix Panned For 'American Accent' And 'Wrong Words'

Alesha Dixon’s performance of the national anthem at the British Grand Prix certainly got Twitter users talking, but probably not for the reasons she was hoping.

SEE MORE:

The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge, who recently returned to the music scene with her first official single in four years, kicked off the racing event in a patriotic fashion with a performance of ‘God Save The Queen’... although some people were rather distracted by the American accent she seemed to be putting on while she performed it.

We’re not suggesting she should have gone the full Mary Poppins or anything, but her American twang didn’t go unnoticed, particularly with Twitter users, who were unimpressed with her Transatlantic accent in the acapella performance.

alesha
Alesha Dixon gives it her all

What’s more, she was also criticised for fumbling the lyrics a little, singing ‘God Save Our Queen’, instead of ‘God Save The Queen’, leading to her quickly shooting up to be one of the UK’s top trending topics on the social media site.

Oh dear.

In fairness to Alesha, not everybody was displeased with her *ahem* interpretation of the national anthem, with some throwing some people throwing some praise in her direction.

Thankfully for Alesha, her other most recent TV performance, where she gave her new track ‘The Way We Are’ the live treatment on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, was much more well-received, earning her critical acclaim from ‘BGT’ fans.

Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher Married? Couple 'Finally Tie The Knot In Secret Fourth Of July Wedding Ceremony'

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher reportedly celebrated the Fourth of July in style this weekend, by getting married.

SEE MORE:

According to People magazine, the couple, who are famously reluctant to share details of their private life, tied the knot over the weekend, having now been an item for over three years.

Mila and Ashton, who also have a nine-month-old daughter together, first met in the late 1990s, when they were both main cast members on the sitcom ‘That 70s Show’, where they played love interests.

Since they welcomed their first child together into the world, there has been a lot of speculation that the couple might have taken their relationship to the next level, and married in secret.

Back in March, Mila appeared to confirm that she and Ashton had made things official, during an interview with James Corden, in his debut episode hosting ‘The Late, Late Show’.

During the interview, the ‘Gavin and Stacey’ creator jokingly goaded her for a clear answer about whether or not she and Ashton had tied the knot, eventually telling her: “Either you’re married or you’re not.”

Mila remained tight-lipped though, simply offering “maybe” as her answer, before James responded: “They are married, look!”, before taking a look at her left hand, where a wedding ring was visible.

She recently told W magazine: “My first real kiss ever was with [Ashton] on the show… We all get movie star crushes. I’m marrying mine!”

If rumours of their summer wedding do finally turn out to be true, we are, of course, sending our huge congratulations to the pair of them!

I Don't Find Writing a Woman as Comfortable as Writing a Man - I Actively Prefer It

$
0
0
The book is called The 3rd Woman, but its heroine is very much my second woman. Don't get me wrong. I don't mean she's the other woman in my life - though my wife might say there were times when it felt like there were three of us in this marriage. No, I mean that Madison Webb, the driving force of my new novel, represents the second time that I have decided my lead character should be female.

She's a journalist on the Los Angeles Times, just turned 30, who's made her name as one of the most fearless investigative reporters in America. As successful as she is in her professional life, she's something of a train-wreck personally. Her last relationship ended in disaster when she and her boyfriend tried - and failed - to live together. She's constantly slamming the phone down on her older sister and seems only to let down her ageing mother. And she is plagued by a constant and horrendous insomnia.

Beyond our chosen line of work, I have next to nothing in common with this person. Even journalistically, we are different animals: I've covered politics for most of my career and have spent much of the last two decades writing columns rather than digging out facts from dark places. Above all, she is a woman and I am a man.

And yet, I found it oddly comfortable to return to writing a heroine rather than a hero - my first female lead since I wrote The Chosen One, published under my pseudonym, Sam Bourne, in 2010. I instantly felt at ease, guided by that sense that I knew Madison - how she would think, how she would speak, even how she would try to get to sleep in the long, slow hours of the night.

Why don't I find it harder to write a woman than to write a man? Part of the credit goes to my editor, Jane Johnson, who gave me a sage piece of advice when I first swapped narrative genders like this, advice that has endured. "Don't write her as a woman," Jane said. "Write her as a person."

It may sound obvious, but it was shrewd. The temptation as a male novelist would have been to over-think a female character's female-ness. To fret over the external, visible business of being a woman - worrying about whether the details of clothing or posture or manner were sufficiently and accurately female. Instead, it made sense to focus on the character's character, focusing not on what made her different from a man but what made her different from everyone else, male or female. That's how I would think of myself, so why not think that way of Madison Webb?

But it goes further. It's not just that I find writing a woman as comfortable as writing a man: I actively prefer it. I'm not completely sure why. It might be that I grew up in a household of women, shaped by the presence of my mother and two older sisters: indeed the torrid, devoted relationship sisters can have with each other is a current that runs through this new book.

But my best guess would be that when writing a male protagonist, I have perhaps strained too hard to make him different from myself, to ensure that I am not lapsing into autobiography. With Madison Webb the difference was there from the start. It was built in. Whatever I did, she could never be identical to me. Even if I dumped a whole cluster of my personality traits on her - and that would be cruel - she would always be distinct. Because she is a woman and I'm not.

Of course the process has its challenges. Occasionally Jane has had to step in to tell me that "no woman would ever dress like that in this situation." But I'm glad to say those correctives have tended to be about what happens on the outside rather than within - so far at least.

More than once, readers have asked about sex scenes. Surely it's, ahem, tricky for a man to describe sex from a woman's point of view. As readers of Sam Bourne can testify, and as readers of the Third Woman will discover, that is not a challenge I have ducked. Did I succeed? I'll let you be the judge of that.

The 3rd Woman by Jonathan Freedland is published by Harper Collins, £12.99

'Big Brother' 2015: Contestants Tear Off Microphones And Escape Into Camera Runs Over Cash Bomb Twist (PICS)

Anarchy broke out in the ‘Big Brother’ house this weekend, with the housemates revolting against producers over their latest Cash Bomb twist.

SEE MORE:

In Sunday night’s show, all of this year’s contestants - oh, apart from Jack ‘Laugh-A-Minute’ McDermott, that is - tore off their microphones in protest at the twist, and broke out of the fire exits to run around the house’s camera runs.

The stunt led to producers calling for security to restore order in the ‘BB’ house, and it sounds like a bigger punishment could be on the way.

After the housemates were rounded up and returned to the house, following their brief exploration of the camera runs, Big Brother sternly told them all to pack their cases and put them in the store room.

Though it’s not exactly known what show bosses have in store for the group after their shenanigans, it sounds like they could well be banged to rights, with Big Brother telling a concerned Jack in the Diary Room: “You’ll just have to wait and see.”

Given that this is Cash Bomb week, and the housemates have already lost over two thirds of their £150,000 prize fund for not being able to keep their mouths shut during the first part of the nominations twist, we have a feeling their bad behaviour could cost them - literally.

As part of the twist, the group were all given the chance to put one of their fellow housemates up for eviction, with Harry, Jack, Nick and Sam all currently facing the chop.

Find out what BB has in store for the group in Monday night’s ‘Big Brother’, airing on Channel 5 at 9pm.

Nicki Minaj left fans at this weekend’s Wireless Festival fuming, after missing her performance at the London gig.

The US rapper blamed “travel issues”, after she failed to appear for her scheduled slot on stage in Finsbury Park on Sunday (5 July) night, eventually arriving two and a half hours late.

Nicki was due to perform between 7pm and 8pm, ahead of David Guetta’s headline slot at 8.40pm.

A message flashed up on the big screens, telling the crowd: “Special announcement: we are told that she was due to be speeding down the M1 from Luton Airport as we speak but we have lost contact with her, we are hoping that she will be here soon."

Nicki eventually made it to the venue at 9.30pm during David’s set, where she then joined him on stage to perform their collaboration ‘Hey Mama’.

She then cut short his slot, as she went on to play her other hits ‘Feeling Myself’, ‘Anaconda’ and ‘Super Bass’.

Nicki had been flying in to the UK after playing at a festival in Denmark the previous night, and told the crowd of her travel nightmare: "Our plane couldn't get out because of the weather but I want to tell you how much I love y'all. I want to tell you how much I appreciate you guys for showing up from day one."

However, her apology was not enough to make it up to some fans, who took to Twitter to slam the tardy star:

The three-day festival also saw performances from Drake, Avicii and Nero.

A-listers were out on force over the weekend, to celebrate Piers Morgan’s 50th birthday party.

Amanda Holden led party-goers, who all donned ‘20s-style costumes, including plenty of feathers and headdresses.

Naturally, Piers shared plenty of photos from the bash too, including one snap of Amanda playing the drums at 3am. As you do.

Other guests included the ‘Good Morning Britain’ ladies Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins.

The bash was held at Piers’ house, and in keeping with the Gatsby theme, excess was in order.

One party photo even shows presenter Ant - without Dec! - attempting to skim a golf ball across a swimming pool.

Piers is currently getting ready to return to ‘Good Morning Britain’, where he’ll front the show from Monday 13 July, while Ben Shephard enjoys some time off.

During his previous stint on the show, Piers received mixed reviews and was later at the centre of an Ofcom investigation, after laughing when french climber Alain Robert dropped the f-bomb live on-air.

Simon’s close friend Sinitta and new ‘X Factor’ host Olly Murs have led the tributes to Julie on Twitter, after it was announced that auditions for the show had also been postponed as a result of Simon’s bereavement.

Announcing Julie's death last night, the family said they were heartbroken and would "miss her terribly".

"Today our beloved mum Julie passed away. Anyone who had met her would know what a truly special and kind lady she was. We are heartbroken and will miss her terribly, but she is now at peace," a statement said.

"We would like to thank the media for kindly respecting Julie's privacy throughout and we politely request continued privacy for the entire family at this particularly difficult time."

Julie was the mother of four boys - Nicholas, Simon, Tony and Michael, and step-mother to John and June.

It is currently unknown if ‘X Factor’ auditions will go ahead in Manchester, on Tuesday, as planned.

Sinitta has hit out at the new ITV2 show ‘Safe Word’, after filming an appearance on it over the weekend.

SEE MORE:

The upcoming comedy panel show was announced last month, and will see comedians David Morgan and Katherine Ryan roasting celebrity guests, alongside host Rick Edwards.

Sinitta was among the celebrities to have taken part, but after filming her spot on the show over the weekend, the ‘So Macho’ singer has branded it “vile” in a string of posts on her Twitter page.

She admitted that she “wished she’d walked out” during the episode’s taping, which also featured ‘Geordie Shore’ cast member, Charlotte Crosby.

During filming, several mysterious and crass tweets appeared on her Twitter page - which have since been deleted - alluding to her past relationship with Brad Pitt, and making some pretty crude remarks about his manhood being “smooth as a baby’s arm”.

Other joke tweets poked fun at ‘X Factor’ judges Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, though Sinitta clearly didn’t see the funny side.

After removing the offending tweets, she remarked that ‘Safe Word’ is “going to be the meanest show on TV”, adding: “Some of you will Love it ( loonies !) some of you will hate it ( grown ups!)”

Sinitta is currently gearing up for the latest series of ‘The X Factor’, where she’s hoping she’ll once again be asked back to help Simon narrow the talent down at judges’ houses, insisting: “If I'm not at Judges Houses there will be hell to pay, and I want you to print that.”

Kerry Katona’s marriage to George Kay is reportedly on the rocks, just months after they tied the knot last September.

SEE MORE:

It has even been claimed that, over the weekend, George left the family home that the couple share with their one-year-old daughter, Dylan-Jorge, as well as Kerry’s four children from her first two marriages.

According to The Sun, George’s “party lifestyle” is to blame for the split, as well as a string of “blazing rows” they’ve been having in the months since their wedding.

A source tells the newspaper: “George has been going missing regularly and Kerry has said she has had enough. She has had such a rough time over the past year or so and he hasn’t been able to support her at all.

“All he’s bothered about is how he looks, going back to Warrington to see his friends and partying. And he’s done nothing to support her financially or emotionally.

“She says she feels like she is putting her own kids through what she went through when she was younger with her mum and a string of bad men.”

Last month, George admitted to Closer magazine that the couple were having problems, confessing: “It’s been tough lately. We’ve been rowing a lot. Marriage isn’t what I thought it would be if I’m honest.

“There have been times I’ve thought we might not last. In my darkest moments I’ve wondered if we should be together. But I love Kerry so much and I’m determined to make it work.”

While he blamed their financial situation for their strained relationship, with Kerry having been declared bankrupt in the months leading up to their wedding, she recently had her home visited by an exorcist, insisting that she thought negative spirits were driving a wedge between her and George.

She said last week: “The negative energy has been following me all my life.

“It’s almost like we’re arguing over things that we don’t need to be arguing over... And we fight more that normal couples should. The amount of sh*t we’ve been through as a couple, most people don’t go through in a lifetime.”

The Sun's source continues: "There’s every chance they could be back together in a week but Kerry is upset.

“She has now said that it’s her kids she wants to focus on rather than finding love because it always goes wrong."

Kerry was previously married to former Westlife singer Bryan McFadden for four years, and later married Mark Croft, who she divorced in 2011.

However, when she proudly displays a newly-bought black dress, Kim - unable to hide her smirk - delivers the blow “Mom has that”, referring to Caitlyn’s ex-wife, Kris Jenner.

Caitlyn was married to Kris for over 20 years, back when she was still known in the public eye as Bruce, but the two split in 2013, and Kris filed for divorce a year later.

A legal requirement meant it took six months for their divorce to become finalised, after which Caitlyn came out as transgender, revealing herself to the world in an already-iconic photo-shoot with Vanity Fair magazine.

Kris recently voiced for support for the photo-shoot, describing the pictures as “beautiful”, and adding: “I think it's amazing. I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people.”

‘I Am Cait’ is to debut on the E! network later this month, and we can tell already that it’s going to be one of the TV moments of the year.

In the first teaser clip for the reality series, Caitlyn is seen describing having her make-up done professionally for the first time, while in another trailer, she talks about what viewers can expect from the series, including “riding a motorcycle” and “going shopping for the first time”.

Film actress Amanda Peterson has died at the age of 43, her father has announced.

Amanda was found dead at her home in Colorado on Sunday, when her family went to check on her, having not heard from her for two days.

Although her cause of death is yet to be confirmed, her father has told TMZ that he thinks a prior medical condition may have been a factor.

He said: “She had some illness and a sleep apnea problem that may have contributed.”

Amanda was probably best known for her role in the 1987 teen comedy ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’, where she played cheerleader Cindy Mancini, a part she took on when she was still only 16 years old.

Her performance in the film, in which she starred opposite Patrick Dempsey and Seth Green, earned Amanda a Young Artist Award.

Prior to her break-out role, Amanda’s career in the entertainment industry started when she was still a child, dancing in ‘Annie’ when she was just 11 years old.

After gaining exposure in ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’, she later starred in the drama ‘Listen To Me’, as well as appearing in an episode of ‘Doogie Howser, M.D.’, the series that brought Neil Patrick Harris to the public’s attention, as well as several American TV movies.

Amanda’s final role was in ‘WindRunner’ in 1994, where she played Julie Moore, after which she retired from acting and moved to Colorado, where she raised her family.

She is survived by her second husband, David Hartley, and their two children.

Shaggy Claims Playing His Music To ISIS Would Stop The Terrorist Group Beheading People

With ISIS still a serious global threat, US rapper Shaggy reckons he has got the perfect solution to stopping the terrorist organisation once and for all - playing them his songs.

Shaggy, who is behind such hits as ‘Mr Boombastic’, ‘It Wasn’t Me’ and ‘Me Julie’, believes listening to his music is would make ISIS fighters either want to have sex or get high, and may lead to them quitting terrorism altogether.

“If you’re able to cut a man’s head off, you’re sick,” Shaggy told the Miami New Times.

“But, music evokes emotion. So if they’re listening to Shaggy music or reggae music, they’re not going to want to cut somebody’s head off.”

He continued: “There’re two things you want to do when you listen to reggae: You get somebody pregnant, or you’re f***ing high. High people don’t want to kill nothing; they want to love.

“They need to bag some Jamaican weed and distribute it amongst ISIS. I guarantee there won’t be any more wars out there ... And throw some Bob Marley up in there and there’ll be peace,”
he added.

Despite the ridiculousness of his plan, Shaggy was backed by several Twitter users:

Shaggy - whose real name is Orville Richard Burrell - previously had a career in the military, serving with a firing battery from the 10th Marine Regiment during the Gulf War.
